This class will be taught in English with Japanese translation. Students proficient in either language are welcome.

Class Capacity: 4 – 9 students
Pre-requisites: Watsu-1

  • For safety reasons related to the nature of this therapy work, participants must be in a physical and mental condition appropriate for close-contact aquatic sessions. Individuals with active infectious diseases, or with medical or psychological conditions that may compromise safety, may be asked to refrain from participating.

Please note that this class is primarily intended as continuing education for Japanese members of Okinawa Watsu Center.

Japanese members have priority registration until January 31, 2026. Any remaining spaces may be offered to English-speaking non-members after that.

Non-members are welcome to sign up now and will be considered for available slots on a first-come, first-served basis starting February 1, 2026. We will notify you of your registration status accordingly.

  • A non-refundable deposit of USD 300 is required to secure your booking. Once your slot is confirmed (from February 1, 2026 onward), the deposit must be paid online by credit card.
    The remaining balance is due by bank transfer to our U.S. bank account no later than one month prior to the course start date.
  • If you are coming from outside the island, please book a hotel in Naha on the night before the class. In the morning of Day 1, take highway bus 111 which reaches Ginoza by 14:00, and we will pick you up. We will send you the updated information about the bus timetable.
    On the last day, we will get you on the highway bus to get back to Naha by 18:00. Please arrange your flight and Naha hotel accordingly.
  • Day 1 doesn’t include lunch. Please bring or finish your lunch before the class starts at 14:00.

Travel

  • If arriving from outside Okinawa, please stay overnight in Naha on the night before Day 1. On the morning of Day 1, take Highway Bus 111 which arrives in Ginoza by 14:00; we will pick you up. (Bus schedule will be shared.)
  • On the final day, we will help your transportation back to Naha via highway bus arriving around 18:00. Please plan your flight and accommodation accordingly.
  • Day 1 does not include lunch. Please bring your own or eat before the class starts at 14:00.
