Study in-depth in a small class
We do WATSU-1, WATSU-2, and Structured Freeflow classes with a maximum of 6 students. We believe this is the best to learn important fundamentals. The minimum is 2. We do Japanese class and English class serapately so that the instructor can focus on teaching, not on translating himself.
We do Japanese classes regularly but we don’t plan English classes regularly. We open English classes when the demand arises. If you are interested in studying with Toru, please send us an email so that we can plan a class for you.

Our Protocols to prevent COVID spread
Please read the following carefully as we explain our protocols to prevent the COVID spread in our Watsu classes. Each class page describes how we do in normal times, but it should be overwritten with the following protocols. Please understand that this is for the safety of everyone involved, including other customers and elderies using the facility.
- The maximum number of students should be 6. Everyone should wear a mask at all time, including the pool class. Please prepare yourself Beak. the facemask frame for Watsu, for your comfort in wearing a mask while floating. We keep our space ventilated and sanitized. We keep distance to each other. We try to use a special access to avoid contacting local elderies. Single occupancy at the lodge (We take no charge during the pandemic). Everyone should take the best possible measures not to get infected and not to infect others.
- Kanna Thalasso Laguna may restrict entries in different grades in accordance with the government policy. When that happens during a class, the facility will still allow us to use the facility by using different space and path from others. If you wish to drop out under such circumstances, you are free to do so but the tuition will not be refunded. If that happens before the class and you do not wish to come, your deposit will not be refunded but the rest can be.
- If you feel cold or not well, it is encouraged to cancel. Let's not push hard on behalf of yourself and others. Before the class, your deposit will not be refunded. During the class, your tuition will not be refunded. But let's all pay attention to our own conditions and make a right decision for all.
- When there are only 2 students and one cancels, we will face a challenge. We will try to find practice models for the class to continue. We try to reschedule the class if possible. We will try every possibilities. If we all work together, we will find a solution.
